KAMLOOPS SALE - TUESDAY NOV. 20TH Well the numbers just keep coming, another huge sale of 1900 head of cattle in Kamloops. Again this week calves dominated the sale receipts and quality was 1st class start to finish. The Philip Ranch put the test to the butcher trade with 7 cows 1418 lb. trading to 62.00 and 1564 lb. cows to 63.75. The Princeton StockRanch saw their 1117 lb. heifers trade to 108.75. The Sharpe Lake Ranch 813 lb. heifers raced to 126.25. George Little had 1495 lb. butcher cows trade to 65.00 and 1675 lb. cows to 67.00. The Quilchena Cattle Co. saw their big load of 45 open heifers 921 lb. Hereford & Hereford Angus cross trade to 120.75. Jack &Bryce Ronayne of Pemberton saw their load of 783 lb. Black s/c hit 133.50, their 617 lb. s/c rolled to 142.00, their top group of Black h/c’s weighed 725 lbs. traded to 125.25. Ryan Creek Ranch also of Pemberton had a top group of 700 lb. Black s/c hit 136.75, the 719 lb. h/c sold to 127.75. Joe Posteraro had 718 lb. steers sell to 134.00. Don Moses had a top set of 700 lb. Red s/c hit 138.50, their 629 lb. Angus X h/c’s raced to 124.50. John & Judy Greenall saw their 715 lb. Red Broc. steer calves power to 135.00, their 607 lb. steers saw 140.75. John McMahon heavy 714 lb. Red Brockle Face s/c saw 135.00. Charlie and Pat Caldwell’s 648 lb. s/c hit 140.00, the 584 lb. s/c hit 148.75. Paul & Tom Kempter hit town with 165 tremendous calves. 32 head of their 683 lb. Red & Black Simm X s/c marked 140.75. 27 head of their 791 lb. s/c raced to 130.25 or 1030.00. 32 head of Tom & Pauls excellent Simm X h/c’s 644 lb. traded to 134.00. George Little saw his top Red Angus cross 649 lb. s/c trade to 140.00. John & Anne Grawher saw their powerful 474 lb. Red Angus s/c trade to 170.25, their 531 lb. fancy Red Angus s/c marked to 155.00. 19 head of their 483 lb. h/c saw a trend of 148.50. The Turner Ranch today set a pace 22 head of their top Blk s/c 620 lb. raced to 142.00. A pen of their 549 lb. s/c saw 149.00. Trace DeBoer /Bar M Ranch saw his 656 lb. Bwf s/c top 141.25. Don & Linda Lougheed had 512 lb. s/c top 156.50. The Seven O Ranch 993 lb. open heifers traded to 114.00. Ian & Anya Mitchell of Mitchell Cattle Co. saw their 800 lb. s/c hit 130.00. Next week another top sale planned. Tom now has 600 calves and 100 yearlings listed for this sale. |
