2000 head of top quality cattle sold in Vanderhoof. Coyote Cattle Co./Bob Storey from Smithers cracked the gate to start the sale with 538 lb. Hereford/Angus X s/c that traded to 300.00 even and 420 lb. s/c at 320.00 along with Bob’s 487 lb. h/c sold for 273.00 even. Bar WK Ranch/Warren & Kim Bryanton of Crescent Spur BC saw their top quality Angus/Simm X 641 lb. s/c trade for 262.75, and 618 lb. s/c traded for 274.00 even. Pooles ArrowRanch / Charlie & Lynn Poole from Punchaw fired up the ring with 200 s/c. 95 top quality Simm s/c weighing 670 lb. traded to 252.00 even and Charlies 738 lb. s/c raced to 246.00. Pooles had 606 lb. s/c sell for 274.00. Charlie is sending 170 h/c for the next sale. Charlie & Shari Peebles of Burns Lake sold their 626 lb. Char s/c for 261.00 and Charlie’s 525 lb. s/c traded to 286.00 even. Seven Up Ranch /Eileen Benedict from Burns Lake sold 517 lb. top quality s/c for 309.00 and 455 lb. s/c for 328.50 and 465 lb. Char X h/c for 263.50. In the yearling division, Rod Bianco from Smithers sold 944 lb. Angus X steers for 242.25 and 868 lb. steers for 245.75 and Kerr Cattle Co. of Telkwa sold 813 lb. heifers for 228.25 and Kerr Limousins sold 760 lb. heifers for 230.75. David Wruth from Vanderhoof sold 888 lb. Angus X heifers for 224.25.
